Organizing against borders – discussion event with migrant activists on the 28th of May at 6 pm.

Europe has seen a proliferation of self-organized protest of asylum seekers. From Athens to Calais, from Berlin to Vienna people have left the official camps to set up their own spaces of protest. How can refugee and migrant groups be supported in their struggles? How can we counter racist movements and right wing populism?

Please join us for a discussion on organizing and protesting against repressive border politics and racism. As speakers we have an activist Bryan Rattan from Jugendliche ohne Grenzen (Youth without borders) and a member of Linje 17 from Sweden. JOG is an organization of young refugees in Germany fighting for right to stay for all. Linje 17 is an anti-racist network from Stockholm.

Organized by Free movement network and Left Forum, Finland.
